The Education Coordinator will support two of our Mathnasium centers, our Alexandria Center and Mount Vernon Center.

Mathnasium is looking for motivated, responsible, and passionate individuals to become part of our management team. The main focus of an Education Coordinator is supporting the Center Director at both centers with education tasks and supervision of instruction, so they need to be detail-oriented with great management skills that help improve efficiency and promote teamwork. Requirements

Exemplary leadership skills and desire to grow with the company.
Affinity for education and lesson plans, with a strong focus on building relationships.
Knowledge of mathematics from the Elementary level up to Algebra I and Geometry.
A passion for math and working with students
Four year degree preferred; candidates without a degree but with outstanding experience will also be considered.
Proficiency in computer skills, including GSuite (Docs, Spreadsheets, and Presentations).

Responsibilities Include:

Supporting the Center Director in all educational functions.
Managing the staff to ensure exceptional instructional services for students.
Applying Mathnasium's teaching methods and curriculum to instruct students in grades K-12
Administering math skills assessments and building/maintaining learning plans for students based on assessment results.
Providing exceptional customer service to new and existing families.
Demonstrating compassion and care toward students.
Creating an atmosphere that inspires joy in learning math, making our students’ experience memorable and leading to their individual success.
Maintaining a culture based on integrity and professionalism.
Fostering positive and effective communication that provides leadership and clear direction.
Ensuring the center is customer ready at all times, including optimal cleanliness and organization.

Compensación: $18.00 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
