Mathnasium is looking for motivated, responsible, and passionate individuals to become part of our Mount Vernon Center team; to make a difference in the lives of students by helping them build strong math foundations, boost confidence, and achieve their goals!

Responsibilities Include:

Teaching students in a 4:1 ratio
Facilitating a productive educational environment
Applying Mathnasium's teaching methods and curriculum to instruct students in grades K-12
Assisting with math homework and test preparation
Professionally interact with students to keep them focused

Job Requirements:

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
Able to work opening shifts beginning at 3:00pm.
Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required
Math proficiency evaluation for math skills ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
